Death Valley - Racetrack Playa and Ubehebe Crater
Tour ID: pinkjeeplv-05
Duration: 6 hours
Departs from: inside Death Valley National Park
Witness one of the strangest rock dances of all time! Furrows in the mud indicate that boulders, some weighing as much as 700 lbs, have slipped across a perfectly flat dry lake bed. This activity has puzzled geologists for decades. Also included is a stop at Ubehebe Crater, a 770-foot deep crater formed by a steam explosion over 3,000 years ago.
This new tour will allow guests to visit the remote areas of the park which are too difficult for most vehicles to access.
